From the app (fastest): open Wealth ByYou → Settings → Delete my account, type DELETE, and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app: email privacy@techbyyou.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, phone number, referral code and referral rewards.
- Your problem reports and your messages with our team.
- Your notification token.
Your money records (groups, spending, savings and so on) live only on your phone. Deleting from the app removes them from that phone too. If you ask by email, they stay on your phone until you uninstall the app.
What we keep
Records of payments for your Wealth ByYou subscription, for as long as Kenyan law requires (amount, date and reference only). They are not linked to any money records.
